Why I designed it
I wanted to create a chew that would keep dogs satisfied for more than just a few minutes – something that could actually give owners a quiet moment to enjoy their coffee. But it had to be healthy, clean, and made with ingredients I’d feel good about giving my own dog. The Cheese Chew is exactly that: a durable, delicious, guilt-free treat.
What it took to get it right
We worked with experienced European makers to refine the Himalayan-inspired recipe, tweaking the texture and hardness until we found the perfect balance between durability and safety. Each batch is carefully crafted in Belgium with high-quality milk and nothing artificial. The result is a chew that delivers on what matters most: long-lasting enjoyment, better dental health, and peace of mind for owners.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
