Thanks to the wide velcro straps on both sides and around the chest, the coat can be put on in just a few seconds, without the need for your dog’s paws to go through any holes or openings. Additionally, it allows for precise adjustment to your dog’s size.

Washing Instructions:
Close all zippers and velcro straps. Ensure there is enough space in the washing machine for the down to expand. Adding washing balls can help prevent the down from clumping.
Wash on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees with low spin. Use mild detergent and no fabric softener.
Dry flat on a drying rack. Shake thoroughly after washing to fluff up the down.

The story behind it
Why I designed it
Winter walks can be some of the most beautiful – and the coldest. I wanted to create a jacket that made those walks better. Not just warmer, but calmer, safer, and more enjoyable.
The Nora coat is my answer to all the little winter frustrations: a dog that won’t stand still, a harness that won’t fit under a thick layer, or a coat that just… doesn’t look right. Nora brings warmth, visibility, and elegance together in one piece.
What it took to get it right
We started with the idea of full reflectivity – for safety in the dark – but wanted it to feel subtle and stylish during the day. The result? A soft light-gray fabric that lights up under headlights, but feels neutral and refined otherwise.
Inside, we added a down layer and fleece lining for insulation, without making it bulky. The wide velcro closures make it quick to put on, and the drawstring at the back ensures the fit is snug and cozy. Zipper on top for leash access, and optional leg straps for windy days. Nothing included by accident – every detail has a reason.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
