Why I designed it
I wanted a drying robe that did more than simply dry a wet dog. It should help dogs recover comfortably after being active while making everyday life easier for owners. By combining highly absorbent bamboo with a soft, warm design, we created a robe that's as gentle on the coat as it is practical to use.
What it took to get it right
The choice of materials was everything. We tested different fabric weights before settling on a thick 600 GSM bamboo blend that absorbs moisture efficiently without compromising softness. We also refined the fit to ensure excellent coverage while remaining easy to put on and comfortable for dogs of different shapes and sizes.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
