Vera is lined to keep your dog warm during the cold months, and its water-repellent surface makes it perfect for wet autumn days. The zipper runs all the way down the back, making dressing both simple and comfortable for your dog. At the back, you’ll find leg straps to keep the jacket in place – and they can easily be removed if you prefer a freer look.
Made for All Dogs – and All Owners
The jacket is, of course, designed with male dogs in mind, so your dog can pee without any issues. Vera comes in several beautiful colors and in sizes ranging from 25 to 50 cm back length. For larger dogs, we recommend our popular Nora jacket, which allows for a harness underneath.

The story behind it
Why I designed it
I wanted to simplify the chaos of getting out the door in winter. Harness, leash, jacket – it all felt like too much. Vera combines everything in one easy step, keeping dogs warm, secure, and stylish. The goal was simple: a jacket that works in real life, for real dogs, with no compromises on comfort or safety.
What it took to get it right
Creating Vera meant rethinking what a dog jacket could be. We tested dozens of prototypes to ensure the harness stayed perfectly in place, adjusted strap placements for maximum comfort, and found the ideal zipper that runs smoothly along the back. We fine-tuned the fit for both male and female dogs, making sure they could move – and pee – freely. After countless wet walks and cold mornings, Vera became the jacket we trust for everyday use.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
