The story behind it
Why I designed it
I designed the Lana bed for dogs who love to feel sheltered and cozy — those who prefer resting in covered spaces like under blankets or in little nooks. Lana’s soft mattress and hooded top create a safe, calming sanctuary where your dog can relax and feel secure. Using bouclé fabric adds a warm, homey touch, making the bed feel like a natural part of your living space. It’s a quiet, comforting place designed with care and respect for how dogs truly rest.
What it took to get it right
Developing Lana meant blending softness with support in a new way. We combined silicone beads and polyurethane foam rods inside to create a filling that’s both cushiony and structured — perfect for year-round comfort. The removable bouclé cover is soft yet durable, and the water-resistant base protects against moisture, making it practical for any setting. Every detail, from fabric choice to construction, was carefully refined in collaboration with European workshops, ensuring nothing is left to chance.
Why customers love it
Customers tell us Lana becomes a retreat for their dogs — a place of calm and comfort that suits even the most sensitive sleepers. The hooded design is a subtle but powerful feature, giving dogs a little shelter that makes all the difference. People also appreciate that the bed looks beautiful in their home, fitting naturally with their style while being easy to clean and maintain. Lana is loved for combining thoughtful function with understated elegance.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
